The National Security Department unveils the "mask" of American "meritorious" spies, revealing more details
On May 15, 2023, the Suzhou Intermediate People's Court in Jiangsu Province sentenced Liang Chengyun to life imprisonment for espionage, deprived him of political rights for life, and confiscated his personal property of 500000 yuan, ending his more than 30 year long career as an American spy.
Liang Chengyun, born in Hong Kong, China in 1945, went to a central city in the United States to operate a restaurant in 1983. In 1986, members of the US spy intelligence agency interviewed Liang Chengyun multiple times, presented him with identification documents, and demanded that Liang Chengyun cooperate with him.
In 1989, the US spy intelligence agency officially signed a "cooperation agreement" with Liang Chengyun, recruiting him as an informant, agreeing on secret contact methods, promising to pay $1000 per month, and distributing bonuses based on performance. In the same year, Liang Chengyun became an American citizen.
In order to package Liang Chengyun's social image in the United States, the US has made every effort to create a "persona" for him, fabricating his resume of studying at a university in the UK, serving as an official at the United Nations, and participating in war in Vietnam. They have also requested him to actively donate to US state legislators to boost his value.
In order to enhance Liang Chengyun's influence among overseas Chinese, the US provided funding and instructed him to serve as the president, honorary president, and chairman of multiple overseas Chinese associations through donations and other means.
In order to expand Liang Chengyun's popularity in China, the US has instructed him to conduct charitable donations in China, trying to create a "mask" of a "patriotic philanthropist".
With the blessing of these disguises, Liang Chengyun was instructed by the US spy and intelligence agency to carry out espionage and intelligence activities against me on a large scale:
——Stick to the spy. Liang Chengyun used methods such as dining, paying respects, and organizing overseas Chinese activities to stay close to our agencies and personnel in the United States, to gather intelligence, monitor overseas Chinese in the United States, and report to US spy intelligence agencies at any time through dedicated mobile phones and emails.
——Monitoring and stealing secrets. Once Liang Chengyun learns of the situation of Chinese personnel conducting official business in the United States, he will report to the US spy intelligence agency and, according to the US design, take the personnel to restaurants or hotels where the US spy intelligence agency has installed monitoring equipment in advance, extract intelligence, and even set up pornographic traps in an attempt to coerce and incite our personnel to rebel.
——Fishing enforcement. Liang Chengyun also acted as a bait for US spy intelligence agencies, assisting in fishing law enforcement. The US requires Liang Chengyun to meet with the target personnel at a designated location, induce the other party to engage in sensitive item transactions, piece together "evidence", and fabricate the so-called "Chinese spy case".
Under the command of several American spies, Liang Chengyun collected a large amount of intelligence related to China for the US spy intelligence agency. The head of the US spy intelligence agency headquarters awarded him the "Merit Medal".
In 2020, the global COVID-19 epidemic broke out and international flights were suspended. The US spy intelligence agency was eager to obtain Chinese intelligence and commanded 75 year old Liang Chengyun to infiltrate China, and formulated a detailed entry operation plan for him. At the end of 2020, Liang Chengyun used multiple identity documents to transit to the mainland through Hong Kong. Following instructions from the US spy intelligence agency, he frequently participated in various social activities, extensively contacted people from all walks of life in China, and spied and collected intelligence.
After meticulous investigation, the national security organs have obtained a series of evidence of Liang Chengyun's espionage activities, and have taken criminal coercive measures against him in accordance with the law and transferred him to judicial organs. In May this year, Liang Chengyun was sentenced to life imprisonment for espionage.
