The Minister of Public Security of China and Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in combating cross-border gambling between China and Vietnam
The 8th Ministerial Conference on Cooperation in Combating Crime between the Chinese and Vietnamese Public Security Ministries was held in Beijing on the 13th. Wang Xiaohong, Secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of Public Security, and Su Lin, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Minister of Public Security of Vietnam, jointly chaired the conference.
Since the seventh meeting, the Chinese Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security has shown frequent highlights in maintaining political security, pursuing fugitives and recovering stolen goods, and cracking down on human trafficking, successfully completing various key cooperation tasks. China is willing to work together with Vietnam to implement the important consensus reached by the highest leaders of the two parties, deepen political security and cybersecurity cooperation, promote exchanges and cooperation at all levels, strengthen practical cooperation in combating crime, strengthen coordination and cooperation under multilateral frameworks, enhance law enforcement capacity building, and strive to serve the construction of a strategic China Vietnam community with a shared future, making new and greater contributions to the security and stability of both countries and the region.
Su Lin stated that Vietnam is willing to strengthen high-level exchanges in law enforcement between the two countries, deepen law enforcement cooperation in various fields, and create a safe and stable social environment for the development of their respective countries.
