After strict comparison, Xiaohe's major added the word "field" and did not meet the requirements of "legal" majors.
Xiaohe told reporters that he graduated from the Law School of Beijing Normal University as a graduate student in 2018, majoring in law as a full-time graduate student. The graduation certificate sent by Xiaohe also shows that she graduated from Beijing Normal University and studied for a Master of Law degree in the field of law at the law school from September 2015 to June 2018. Her master's degree certificate shows that she has been awarded a Master of Law degree.

The reporter found on the official website of the Organization Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China that the "Professional Reference Catalogue for Jiangsu Province's 2023 Examination Recruitment of Civil Servants" does not include the words "Master of Law in the Legal Field" displayed on Xiaohe's graduation certificate.
It is worth noting that the "special note" in this reference catalog states that due to the inconsistent setting of major names in various universities, new majors are established every year, and this catalog cannot fully cover the majors offered by various universities.
