The reporter learned from the 50 day countdown press conference for the opening of the 6th China International Import Expo that this year's national exhibitions of the CIIE will be fully resumed offline and a guest of honor country will be established. At the same time, the China Pavilion has been upgraded and expanded, and the exhibition area has increased from 1500 square meters to 2500 square meters, with a focus on showcasing the latest achievements of China's high-level opening up and high-quality development. The "10th Anniversary Achievement Exhibition of Free Trade Zone Construction" has been established. At present, more than 60 countries have confirmed their participation, and international organizations such as the World Trade Organization, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and the International Trade Center have also confirmed their participation.

In terms of corporate exhibitions, about 3000 companies have signed contracts to participate, with an exhibition area of over 360000 square meters. Among them, about 400 companies have returned to participate after more than two years.

In terms of investment promotion, the 6th China International Import Expo will promote precise communication between exhibitors and merchants through multiple channels. As of now, more than 700 potential buyers from 14 trading groups have been released, and nearly 300 products and technologies from over 60 exhibitors have been released; 41 offline and online investment roadshows and 3 large-scale pre exhibition supply and demand matching meetings have been held.

On September 15th, the signing ceremony for exhibitors at the 7th China International Import Expo was held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center. 25 companies, including Panasonic, Yishilu Luxottica, and GE Medical, signed the 7th exhibition contract or cooperation memorandum on site. According to the China International Import Expo Bureau, the recruitment work for the 7th CIIE was launched as early as June this year. As of now, the contracted exhibition area has exceeded 40000 square meters.

Matsushita, who has been making annual commitments to CIIE, has recently signed the 7th CIIE. Israeli pharmaceutical company Tiva participated in the CIIE for the first time last year and signed the 7th CIIE in one breath this year.
