Zhejiang Online, September 18th - The official documentary of the Asian Games, "Hi, Asian Games," produced by the Central New Film Group and jointly produced by the Asian Olympic Council and the Hangzhou Organizing Committee of the 19th Asian Games, was broadcasted on China Central Television on September 16th. The film will be broadcasted on CCTV5 from September 16th to 19th at 18:35, and on CCTV16 Olympic Channel from September 18th to 21st at 19:55.
It is reported that the film has systematically sorted out and comprehensively presented the materials of the Asian Games over 70 years ago, presenting for the first time a panoramic view of the historical changes of the Asian Games over 70 years, leaving a precious cultural heritage for the Asian Games.
As a sports humanities documentary, this film not only showcases the beauty of sports power, but also deeply explores the humanistic beauty behind sports, allowing people from various countries to have a more systematic, intuitive, and profound understanding of the Asian Games, with the aim of promoting the development of Asian sports and conveying the theme of "Asian community with a shared future".
The film consists of four episodes. The first episode "The Grand Event" starts with the first Asian Games in 1951, showcasing the rise and fall of Asia over the past century, as well as how Asians express themselves at the Asian Games. The second episode "Extreme" brings together top athletes from all over Asia, telling their stories of constantly challenging their physical limits, Asian records, and self strength from multiple perspectives such as sports science and aesthetics. The third episode "They" takes time as the thread and tells the story of Asian women's breakthroughs and blooms on the Asian Games stage. The fourth episode "Diversity" presents an understanding of the Asian Games from the perspective of Asian Games culture.
Central New Film Discovery Documentary Media, responsible for filming and production tasks, immediately formed a filming team after accepting the task in 2020. After three years, they completed filming tasks in nearly 20 countries and regions in Asia. During this period, the team interviewed nearly a hundred important participants, witnesses, and witnesses of Asian sports, including Wei Jizhong, Huo Zhenting, Lin Dan, Takahashi Shangzi, Qiu Suo Weijina, and Tao Feike. Together, they told touching stories behind the Asian Games and interpreted the powerful power of Asian sports.
The film will also be released in an extended version, which will be gradually presented to the audience during the Asian Games.
