The folk stories of Zouma Town are a national intangible cultural heritage. Zouma Elementary School sets up a weekly class specifically for learning folk stories, songs, or proverbs, allowing children to cultivate the "roots" of excellent traditional Chinese culture by listening to and telling stories.

To do a good job in educating excellent traditional Chinese culture, it is necessary to give full play to the role of the campus. Liaoning Province requires that calligraphy classes be held once a week for students in grades three to six of primary school; Chenzhou City, Hunan Province has incorporated traditional sports such as martial arts, dragon dance, and lion dance into school curriculum; At the Fourth Primary School of Yudong in Banan District, Chongqing, the city level intangible cultural heritage of Yudong is decorated with needlework and embroidery works on the corridor walls. The introduction of excellent traditional Chinese culture into the campus and classroom helps children receive cultural influence and stimulate their awareness of cultural inheritance.

Those who plant trees must cultivate their roots, and those who plant virtues must nurture their hearts. Deepening the excellent traditional Chinese culture into the hearts of children will provide them with spiritual strength and help them grow into pillars of the country.

Consolidate the foundation of teaching staff

The foundation of teaching lies in the teacher. Strengthening the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture and enabling young people to understand the long history of Chinese civilization and perceive the vastness and profundity of Chinese culture cannot be separated from the support of excellent teachers.

To infuse excellent traditional Chinese culture into the campus and nourish the growth of young people, teaching work must be based on the characteristics of traditional culture, follow the cognitive laws of young people, and be close to the actual situation on campus. This requires teachers to have both rich knowledge reserves and proficient teaching skills. In 2021, the national training plan for primary and secondary school kindergarten teachers began to be implemented, and the training of "excellent traditional culture education" teachers was included in the "demonstration training for backbone teachers in scarce fields". One important way to strengthen the foundation of teaching staff and improve classroom teaching effectiveness is to tap into social resources, introduce "stones from other mountains", and attract inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, researchers of traditional culture, and others to serve as "part-time teachers". At the same time, public cultural facilities such as museums and exhibition halls can also be integrated into teaching, becoming the "second classroom" for the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture. Mobilize multiple forces to participate, enrich teaching methods, and lead the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture with high-quality teachers. Various cultural and creative products integrate the cultural heritage connotation value and artistic inspiration, reflecting cultural heritage and historical accumulation in innovative forms; Film and television works, presented with rich imagination and visual appeal, bring the brilliance of the times to the excellent traditional Chinese culture; Embroidery, ink painting, Beijing opera facial makeup and other elements are widely used in clothing design, reflecting the unique artistic aesthetics of Chinese excellent traditional culture... Chinese excellent traditional culture cannot be only preserved in books, but also integrated into cultural products that are popular among young people, allowing them to experience the charm of Chinese culture from multiple channels.

Creating a favorable cultural market environment, launching more cultural masterpieces that are in line with the characteristics of the times and young people, and cleverly embedding excellent traditional Chinese culture into various aspects of "clothing, food, housing, transportation, shopping, and entertainment", can create a growth environment that nourishes the heart with culture, further stimulating their interest and initiative in inheriting and promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture.
