On September 13th, Mr. Zhang, the son of an injured elderly person, told Cover News that his mother's condition was severe and the medical conditions at the place of the incident were limited, and he had been transferred to the hospital for treatment. "A week after the incident, the attacker was still active in the village."
On September 18th, the Fengxiang District Cultural and Tourism Bureau, where Li works, stated that he is currently working normally at the unit and has been criticized and educated. Ms. Zhang said that on the morning of August 26th, the "store" sign hanging by her mother at her doorstep was covered by something by Li, causing an argument between the two parties. Later, her mother was kicked to the ground by Li. The surveillance video shows that an elderly person wearing a purple shirt was kicked to the chest by a man next to the partition wall and fell by the edge of a flower pot. The man who kicked people stood behind the wall, unable to see his face clearly.

Ms. Zhang told reporters that she and her brother usually work outside, her parents live in the village, and there is a small shop outside her house. "My mother made a store sign and placed it on her wall for the convenience of receiving packages. It should have been placed on the evening of the 25th. When she woke up in the morning, she found that someone else was blocking her with a board, so she wanted to take it away. Li refused to let it go, and the two got into a conflict. A village official from Shijiaying Village, where the incident occurred, told Cover News that the village had previously assisted in mediating the conflict between the two sides, and the damaged house had also been repaired.
