According to the International News Agency, Yuri Borisov, President of the Russian National Space Group, a new agreement for joint space flights to continue until 2024 and 2025 is being prepared. Moscow had previously stated that it would cease cooperation with the United States in the space field.
On September 15th, at the Baikonur Space Launch Site in Kazakhstan, American astronaut O'Hara, Russian astronaut Kononenko, and Chubu traveled side by side to the launch site.
It is reported that since the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the International Space Station is one of the few areas where Russia and the United States are still cooperating.

According to reports, due to extremely tense relations between the two countries in other aspects, Russia recently announced that it will cease cooperation and establish its own orbital station after 2024. But due to the construction of the space station taking several years, Moscow later stated that it is considering staying on the International Space Station before 2028.
