At that time, when she went to the provincial capital, she needed to carpool a private car from the township to the county first, and then take a taxi or bus to the train station, which not only increased the time cost but also the fare was relatively high.
Due to the lack of high-speed rail service in Yuexi County, people in Yuexi often choose the Qianshan high-speed rail station as their first choice when traveling by high-speed rail. In order to facilitate the travel of people from Yuexi, coordinated by the Anqing Municipal Transportation Bureau, there are 8 urban and rural buses running between Qianshan High speed Railway Station and Yuexi County every day, benefiting nearly 300 people daily.
In recent years, Qianshan City has attached great importance to the development of urban and rural transportation, and has established a working mechanism led by the government, led by the transportation department, and jointly promoted by various relevant government departments. In order to facilitate the transportation of rural residents and mountain goods, and promote the integration of transportation and tourism, the Qianshan Municipal Government raised funds from multiple sources in January 2022, investing 182 million yuan to build a high standard urban passenger transportation center station of 18000 square meters, and investing 145 million yuan to comprehensively improve urban and rural transportation infrastructure.

Currently, 76 passenger routes have been opened, achieving full coverage of 16 townships and 164 established villages, which can meet the daily transportation capacity of 7000 people." The Qianshan Municipal Government has issued the "Implementation Plan for the Integration of Urban and Rural Road Passenger Transport in Qianshan City", which clearly states that according to the principle of "one county, one company", the city's urban and rural passenger transport resources will be integrated to form a new operating entity.
"The new business entity relies on the city's passenger transportation center, township comprehensive transportation service stations, and village level transportation stations to build a three-level passenger transportation network for 'county and village', eliminate the dual structure of urban and rural road passenger transportation, and achieve equal services for urban and rural passenger transportation. On December 28, 2022, the Qianshan Municipal Government promoted the establishment of a state-owned enterprise - Runda Public Transport Company, with an investment of more than 36 million yuan to complete the acquisition of four private rural passenger transport companies, including Xinlong, and fully implement the operation of public transportation.
"The fare is based on a one ticket system, with a fare of 2 yuan for boarding and an additional fee of 1 yuan during the air conditioning period. At the same time, four long-distance township direct bus lines will be opened, with a fee of 6 yuan." Ding Jieping, Deputy General Manager of Runda Public Transport Co., Ltd. in Qianshan City, said that the company currently has 184 vehicles, 76 urban and rural public transportation lines will be opened, with more than 850 daily trips and a peak holiday passenger flow of 14000 people.
Yuantan Town is located in the northeast of Qianshan City, near the Dabie Mountains, and is the intersection of four townships. "Yuantan Bus Station is a transportation hub for these four nearby townships. Buses depart from the county town and then transfer here to the other three townships in the mountainous area." Huang Yong said that the road to the mountain village is narrow, and Yuantan Bus Station can transfer to a 9-seater van to directly transport passengers to the village. "In our area, it is now a village to village bus service."
With the deepening of the integration of urban and rural public transportation in Qianshan City, the city has truly achieved seamless connection between urban public transportation, urban-rural public transportation, tourism passenger transportation, and taxis. At the same time, Runda Bus Company in Qianshan City will also cooperate with local postal companies and tourism departments to open multiple logistics dedicated lines and four tourism routes, promoting the deep integration of agriculture, rural tourism, and transportation, and promoting local economic development.
