What forces do we need to gather in order to build a high-quality kindergarten? What kind of assistance can education groups provide? Recently, Nanmen Education Group officially launched the group's joint action to build high-quality kindergartens during the 39th Teacher's Day celebration. The 23 member schools of the group are divided into four joint groups to sign contracts, and will rely on the group's strength to focus on helping the upgrading of secondary kindergartens and accelerate the realization of "good education for young children".
On that day, the South Gate Kindergarten in Pudong New Area was shining with stars. Ni Chunyu, a member of the group and the principal of Donggang Kindergarten, shared several unforgettable moments in the process of creating a demonstration kindergarten in Shanghai. She was moved by the concerted efforts of all the teachers in the kindergarten, and also thanked the group for their full support at a critical moment, which transformed this rural kindergarten into a city demonstration park. Ms. Li Jie, a teacher at Nanmen Kindergarten and a good teacher of the "Four Haves" in Shanghai, brought her "apprentices" to the group's member schools and brought the teaching and research activities to the stage. They use a constantly changing storyline to showcase the deep understanding and reflection of the group's teachers on early childhood education. On that day, a group of young teacher representatives, teachers with 30 years of teaching experience, outstanding childcare and logistics workers, and others received awards on the same stage, receiving the joy of being respected and recognized as educators.
"To build a high-quality kindergarten, every aspect and every individual is important, and every kindergarten has room for improvement." In the view of Gong Weiling, the special principal, chairman of Nanmen Education Group, and principal of Nanmen Kindergarten, the group's first four years have initially achieved the development goal of gathering wisdom, improving quality and efficiency, and achieving win-win cooperation. In the future, in the process of constructing high-quality kindergartens, Nanmen Education Group will take the "Implementation Plan for High Quality Kindergarten Construction" in Pudong New Area as a guide, further integrate professional forces such as childcare, logistics, and management, help member schools comprehensively improve the quality of kindergarten operation in co construction, promote the harmonious development of teachers and children in creation, and achieve every better kindergarten.
Established in 2019, Nanmen Education Group has expanded its member schools from 17 to 23 in the past four years. Over a thousand teachers from 46 parks serve 13000 young children, accounting for about one tenth of the total in the region. Considering the characteristics of member schools being large in size, diverse in development status, and extensive in geographical coverage, the group has decided to carry out high-quality kindergarten actions through group co construction. The four joint action teams signed on that day, each led by a high-quality park. They will closely cooperate and collaborate in standardizing kindergarten management, building professional teams, optimizing curriculum construction, and forming collaborative forces, with a special emphasis on stimulating the endogenous power of teacher self-development.
