The opening of the Asian Games is approaching, and reporters have visited some Asian Games venues and found that the principle upheld by venue operators is to finely utilize resources, reduce costs, and not compromise the effectiveness of events.

Shou Weimin, Director of Finance and Insurance in the Operations Team of Fuyang Aquatic Sports Center, is a cadre of the Finance Bureau of Fuyang District, Hangzhou City. In his view, the implementation of frugality in running meetings has played a significant role as a "public property warehouse".

The "public property warehouse" referred to by Shou Weimin is an asset repository led by the finance bureau of the district. Idle assets of all government agencies, enterprises and institutions in the district will be included in the "public property warehouse". Once needed, these idle assets can be "reused".

He gave an example, for example, if a unit wants to purchase an air conditioner and there happens to be idle space in the "public goods warehouse," the unit's purchase request will be returned and the idle air conditioner can be used directly.

The secondary utilization of idle assets will further improve the efficiency of asset utilization, and some materials will play a role in the Asian Games. The reporter saw mixed colors and inconsistent specifications of tables and chairs in the administrative and dining areas of the center.

Wu Dongwen, an asset procurement management staff member at the Fuyang Water Sports Center, said, "This table was borrowed from another unit, and these chairs are also different because some are rented and some are borrowed. Although the color and size are different, it does not affect the use."

In the dining area, tables and chairs of different colors are also allocated by the venue to the "public goods warehouse", which not only avoids the waste of repeated purchases, but also facilitates post competition asset evaluation and processing.

Shou Weimin said, "Preliminary calculations show that we have saved over 2 million yuan in expenses for the previous test event, and during the Asian Games, the 'public goods warehouse' can save us 7 to 8 million yuan. At the same time, the venue also strictly controls planning, demand, and procurement, and adopts a 'frugal' model to achieve simplicity without missing anything.".

Climbing onto the "Sky Garden" of the Aquatic Sports Center venue, planting green plants such as centennial grass and roses, not only integrates with the surrounding natural landscape, but also has a sense of technology.

It is understood that the Fuyang Water Sports Center has a rainwater recovery system. After a series of filtration, the rainwater recovery system can be used as water for the venue atrium, water system, fountain, and irrigation. According to calculations, after the system is put into use, the venue can save about 1000 tons of water per month.

From construction to use, the concept of "green" and "no waste" has been fully reflected in the Fuyang Yinhu Sports Center. Through reasonable layout of buildings, the sports center achieves good lighting and ventilation effects, and achieves the goal of land conservation. At the beginning of the design, the shooting comprehensive hall was considered for multifunctional use, combining the 10 meter moving target, 10 meter qualifying, 25 meter qualifying, 50 meter qualifying, shooting final hall, and fencing round robin preliminary hall into one hall to improve venue utilization.

At the same time, the light guide tube lighting system used in the archery hall is also a major highlight. According to the introduction, the light guide tube lighting system can collect natural light and transmit it to the indoor environment through pipelines, so that there is no hidden danger or waste of electricity in the comprehensive museum. The natural light shining in also has no flicker and will not cause harm to the eyes.

Saving a drop of water, one kilowatt hour of electricity, a piece of paper...
