Proposed new position, Deng Xiaojuan
On September 17th, the Organization Department of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee issued a notice on the pre appointment publicity of cadres.
Among them: Deng Xiaojuan, female, Han ethnicity, born in January 1972, holds a postgraduate degree while working, holds a PhD in Education, is a member of the Communist Party of China, and currently serves as the Vice President and Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Northwest Normal University. She is proposed to be appointed as the Administrative Director of a provincial-level public institution.

Deng Xiaojuan, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, from Heshui County, Gansu Province. Graduated from Northwest Normal University in 1994, initiated the establishment of the undergraduate dance major at Northwest Normal University in 2001, and later served as the dean of the Dance School at Northwest Normal University.
In May 2019, Deng Xiaojuan was appointed as the Vice President of Northwest Normal University.
According to the Journal of Northwest Normal University, Deng Xiaojuan is a leading talent in Gansu Province, a talent in the "four batches" of the cultural propaganda system in Gansu Province, a flying scholar in Gansu Province, and a member of the Aesthetic Education Teaching Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education. Long term commitment to research on art education in universities, published over 30 academic papers in core journals, published 12 works, and led 11 national and provincial level projects. In 2015, he/she won the first prize for social science achievements in higher education institutions in Gansu Province. In 2016, he/she won the Talent Award for Young Teachers in Ordinary Universities in Gansu Province and the second prize for social science achievements in higher education institutions in Gansu Province. In 2019, he/she won the Special Excellent Achievement Award for "School Sports and Aesthetic Education" from the Sports, Health and Art Department of the Ministry of Education and the first prize for the 15th Excellent Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Gansu Province. The work "Tao Yin" created by the editor was nominated for the final evaluation of the 11th Chinese Dance "Lotus Award" Ethnic Folk Competition, selected for the first collection of excellent Chinese dance works, and won the 9th Dunhuang Literature and Art Award in Gansu Province. She has participated in planning and creating 23 large-scale international and domestic evening parties.
