Zhejiang Online, September 17th - At 10:00 am on September 17th, the torch relay for the 19th Asian Games in Jinhua, Piaoping Road, Hangzhou is currently underway. 85 year old director of the Lei Feng Memorial Museum, Cao Rong'an, held a torch and ran slowly forward. In just 42 meters, he took every step very seriously.
Cao Rong'an can be said to be a well-known figure in Jinhua. For over 40 years, he has adhered to the principle of "learning from Lei Feng and doing environmental protection". He has donated more than 1 million yuan for personal public welfare and has been awarded the titles of "Chinese Good Person" and "the Most Beautiful Volunteer in the Country", affectionately known as "Grandpa Lei Feng".

As the oldest torchbearer of the Asian Games torch relay in the province, some people suggested that Cao Rong'an could sit in a wheelchair and be pushed by volunteers to complete the 42 meter journey, but Cao Rong'an refused.

"The Asian Games is a sports event, and I want to use my actions to tell young people that active exercise is the key to building a strong physique and bringing glory to the country in the future." Cao Rong'an smiled and said that if he could finish like everyone else, he was a bit slow.
In fact, Cao Rong'an has an Asian Games complex. 33 years ago, with a monthly salary of less than 100 yuan and no television at home, he suddenly donated 1000 yuan to the Beijing Asian Games, equivalent to one year's income.
"This is the donation receipt for the Beijing Asian Games, as well as the certificate of honor." Cao Rong'an took out a batch of old objects to recall. It was China's first time hosting an international sports event, and he wanted the world to see that Chinese people can do it.
Cao Rong'an also has a patriotic sentiment. In 2010, Cao Rong'an used his retirement pension to establish the Lei Feng Story Exhibition Hall, which collected more than 15000 red materials promoting the spirit of Lei Feng and carried out long-term preaching among students in various primary and secondary schools.
"If the youth are strong, then the country is strong. The youth are the future of the country and the 'successors'." Cao Rong'an said, hoping to inspire the patriotism, national ambition, and patriotism of the youth through the deeds of Lei Feng.
