In Jiaxing, torchbearer Yuan Jing received the torch in front of the Nanhu Revolution Memorial Hall, and Yuan Jing, who had been engaged in the museum's explanation work for more than 20 years, was deeply touched.
"A hundred years ago, revolutionary predecessors ignited the spark of the Chinese revolution on a small boat on Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing; a hundred years later, the Asian Games torch 'firewood' was ignited in the city of Jiaxing. Despite different eras and backgrounds, it still represents the passing down of the torch and its endless growth." said Yuan Jing.
With the torch relay, a group of "behind the scenes workers" of the Hangzhou Asian Games have also stepped into the spotlight. Alibaba Cloud engineer Zhao Xu is the torchbearer of Huzhou Station.
