After trial, the Intermediate People's Court of Guiyang City found that the defendant Yu Huaying, together with Gong Mouliang, fled to Guizhou Province, Chongqing City and other places to seek illegal benefits from 1993 to 1996. They searched for suitable children for abduction and trafficking, and after success, the two took the abducted children to Handan City, Hebei Province. Through the introduction of Wang Moufu and Yang Moulan, they searched for buyers to buy and sell, in order to profit. During this period, a total of 11 children were abducted and sold. The court believes that the defendant Yu Huaying has repeatedly abducted and sold children for illegal gain, and his behavior has constituted the crime of child trafficking. The criminal circumstances are particularly serious and the social harm is extremely great, and he should be severely punished. Thus, the above judgment was made.

Yang Niuhua, the key witness who found Yu Huaying, was one of the abducted children. She returned to her hometown 26 years later, and her parents were no longer there. It's frustrating that besides kidnapping other children, Yu Huaying didn't even let her own son go. Yang Niuhua, who sued Yu Huaying in court, clearly stated, "My purpose is to severely punish human traffickers."; Bringing unscrupulous human traffickers to justice is also the solemnity of the law. The Criminal Law clearly stipulates that if the circumstances of trafficking in women and children are particularly serious, the death penalty shall be imposed and property shall be confiscated. In 2004, Yu Huaying was sentenced to 8 years in prison for trafficking two children. However, she concealed her true identity and did not truthfully confess all the crimes until she was arrested again before finally confessing. Abducting and trafficking children is already a serious crime, and changing one's identity and concealing or not reporting it is even more heinous. Punishing Yu Huaying strictly in accordance with the law is not only the wish of Yang Niuhua, but also the common expectation of the whole society. The first instance verdict can be said to be very satisfying.
Human traffickers are social tumors and public hazards, challenging the bottom line of human ethics and legal dignity.
