On the evening of September 12th, a reporter from China News Network learned from relevant departments in Yulin City, Guangxi that all three people who were lost in the local landslide incident were found on the afternoon of September 12th. After confirmation by medical staff, the three missing individuals have no vital signs.
Affected by the residual vortex of typhoon "Haikui" and monsoon, extremely heavy rainstorm occurred in many places of Yulin from September 10 to 11. As a result, multiple landslides occurred in Yulin, resulting in 7 deaths and 3 loss of contact.
According to local media reports in Guangxi, the three people who lost contact are a family, including two elderly people around 60 years old and a child over 1 year old. Their house is located halfway up the mountain, with a total of 6 rooms. According to local residents, all three personnel rested in their rooms during the landslide.
After the incident, the emergency management department of Yulin City, the fire rescue detachment, and the Yulin detachment of the Guangxi Armed Police Force immediately rushed to the scene to clean up and search for various rooms. At 17:30 on the 12th, the entire search and rescue work was completed. After confirmation by medical personnel, the three missing individuals had no vital signs.
The Yulin Flood Control and Drought Relief Command issued a notice on the 12th, stating that according to the latest meteorological information, the "sea anemone" residual vortex continues to move westward, reducing its impact on Yulin City. It is estimated that in the next 24 hours, there will be heavy rain to rainstorm and local heavy rainstorm in the north of Yuzhou District, Fumian District, the north of Xingye County, Bobai County, the south of Beiliu City, the south of Rongxian County and the south of Luchuan County, accompanied by lightning and 6-7 gusts.
