Recently, the Public Security Bureau of Raohe County, Heilongjiang Province successfully cracked a major case of production and sale of eavesdropping and photo stealing equipment, uprooting a black industrial chain of illegal production and sale of specialized eavesdropping and photo stealing equipment from technology research and development to component manufacturing, and then to finished product assembly and sales.

In November 2022, the Raohe County Public Security Bureau received a report from citizens that a suspicious group was found on a social media app, which could purchase modified eavesdropping and photo stealing equipment such as speakers, watches, power banks, sockets, lighters, etc. This clue caught the attention of the police. Through investigation, the police found that suspect Chen contacted interested customers through chat software, sold modified lighters, modified mobile phones and other equipment with the function of eavesdropping and stealing photos, negotiated the price, and then contacted home to deliver goods to earn profit from the price difference.

In order to timely cut off the criminal chain, the Raohe County Public Security Bureau has established a special task force to fully tackle this case. After in-depth analysis and analysis, the task force has identified the identities of suspects Wang, Gong, and Chen. After more than a month of investigation, a large-scale illegal production and sale of specialized equipment for eavesdropping and photo theft involving multiple provinces and levels across the country has gradually emerged as a criminal gang. The criminal gang concentrated its production centers in Shenzhen, Dongguan and other places, established an electronic company, and recruited employees to operate in a company like manner. The criminal group is well organized and has clear division of labor.

At present, Raohe County Public Security Bureau has arrested 14 suspect, detained more than 600000 yuan of illegal income, ascertained the organizational structure of Level 7, seized 1 illegal production factory, 7 sales points of special equipment for eavesdropping and stealing photos, 4 storage warehouses, seized more than 50000 finished products of special equipment for eavesdropping and stealing photos, and more than 510000 semi-finished products and accessories used to manufacture equipment, with a total value of more than 40 million yuan.
