In Li Fang's view, the changes brought about by artificial intelligence technology in the international communication situation require timely adjustment of communication strategies.
Firstly, deepen the application of artificial intelligence technology, promote the production of high-quality international communication content, be adept at algorithms and reaching audiences, build cross-border and cross-cultural digital platforms, influence the discourse and field of international communication, strengthen the governance of artificial intelligence content production, improve artificial intelligence subject recognition technology, enhance the level of multimedia content identification, cultivate public artificial intelligence literacy, and clarify the international communication content pattern.
Secondly, we will promote the allocation and operation of international communication resources from comprehensive deployment to precise communication, from internal and external differentiation to internal and external coordination, from "going out" to "going in", from a single subject to a multiple subject transformation, fully leveraging the communication resources of target countries. On the one hand, we will deeply cultivate digital media, integrate digital media public opinion evaluation with algorithms, and promote more social media platforms in China to "go abroad" and "go out of the circle". On the other hand, by deepening exchanges and cooperation in multiple fields, Chinese media can enter the existing platforms and channels of Western media through investment, shareholding, and other forms to carry out external communication.
