According to Reuters on September 9th, on the first day of the G20 Leaders Summit held in New Delhi, India hosted a dinner with Xiaomi to entertain leaders from around the world. Xiaomi is a staple food for many Indian people.
According to reports, at the VIP tables where leaders from various countries sit, many dishes from leaf pastry to pudding are made from millet.
The dinner hosted by Indian President Draupadi Murmu includes three vegetarian dishes, representing the "harvest of autumn", made from different types of millet.

The main course is jackfruit pastry Dim sum, served with wild mushrooms, millet crisps and curry leaf fried clara red rice with syrup. On the dining table, there are also Bacardi pastries, a common thick sweet cake in Mughal cuisine, and the famous Mumbai soft bread bun.
Xiaomi also appeared in the declaration of the G20 summit. The declaration reads: "We encourage strengthened research cooperation on climate resilient nutrient grains such as millet, quinoa, and sorghum, as well as other traditional crops such as rice, wheat, and corn."
