This bronze tablet inscription comes from a "Loyal Spirit Pagoda" located in the Hegang mining area of Heilongjiang Province. It was built by Japanese aggressors for the Japanese puppet army who died in the invasion of China. The bronze plaque with inscriptions is 51 centimeters long, 36.5 centimeters high, 2 centimeters wide, and weighs 12 kilograms. The above text records the fighting process between the Japanese puppet army and the anti Japanese soldiers. From the content of the inscription, it appears to be highly deceptive. It creates the illusion of innocence among ordinary people being attacked by bandits, attempting to deepen the opposition between the people of Northeast China and the revolutionary forces. The truth is that on the night of May 22, 1936, Xia Yunjie, the commander of the Sixth Army of the Northeast People's Revolutionary Army, commanded the First, Second, and Third Regiments of the Sixth Army to launch two separate attacks on the Hegang Mine. With the close cooperation of our party's underground staff, we successfully disarmed the Second Mine Police Brigade and killed the Japanese military commander Yamaguchi Michi, Hashimoto Taki, and the captain of the False Mine Police Brigade Zhao Yongfu. In this battle, a large number of enemy firearms and ammunition were seized, and our army suffered no casualties. On the early morning of the 23rd, Xia Yunjie led his troops to carry spoils of war and triumphed.
In 1948, the Northeast Martyrs Memorial Hall collected this bronze plaque with inscriptions as a national first-class cultural relic, which became an important physical evidence of the Sixth Army of the Northeast Anti Japanese League attacking Japanese and puppet mines and attacking the enemy.
