Iran: Abuse of this institution by the United States and Europe
According to Reuters and Deutsche Presse-Agentur, Iran defended its move of depriving some personnel of the United Nations nuclear monitoring agency of verification qualification on September 16, and accused the United States, Britain, France and Germany of politicizing the International Atomic Energy Agency.
It is reported that Iran has recently decided to revoke the qualifications of several IAEA experts to participate in nuclear facility inspections.
Iranian state media reported that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanani said, "Unfortunately, despite active, constructive, and ongoing interaction between Iran and the IAEA, these three European countries and the United States have abused the IAEA Council for political purposes."
Previously, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany called on Tehran to cooperate with the agency on a series of issues, including providing an explanation for the discovery of uranium traces in undeclared locations.
The IAEA earlier condemned Iran for excluding about one-third of the agency's most experienced inspectors sent to the country.
According to reports, IAEA Director General Rafael Grosi criticized Iran's actions in an official press release, calling them "excessive and unprecedented.". He said that this "affects the normal planning and execution of verification activities by the IAEA in Iran, and openly violates the cooperation that this agency should have with Iran.".

The qualification of a previous inspector has been revoked. Although this measure is allowed by regulations, Grosi criticized Iran for obstructing the "IAEA's ability to conduct effective verification in Iran.". Grosi called on Iran to reconsider its decision.
