Bagram Prison is located 40 kilometers north of the Afghan capital Kabul, adjacent to Bagram Air Force Base. After the United States launched the Afghanistan War in 2001, it quickly began to detain a large number of Taliban members and suspected terrorists here, with the number of prisoners reaching several thousand at one point.
The scandal of the US military abusing prisoners at Bagram Prison has been constantly exposed, and this prison is also known as "Guantanamo in Afghanistan". A large number of Afghans detained here have been subjected to inhumane physical and mental torture. Some choose to commit suicide in order to escape the inhumane torture, and many survivors also live their lives in the shadow left by the atrocities.

What non-human experiences have prisoners who have served in Bagram Prison suffered or witnessed with their own eyes?
Due to his connection with the Taliban, Mohammad Ayaz was first detained in a prison managed by the former government, and later transferred to the Bagram prison managed by the US military, where a nightmare began.
Former inmate Mohammad Ayaz from Bagram Prison: There is a type of cell called the "Showroom", which is a single room and sometimes people are taken over to suffer torture. The length and width of the cell are only 1.5 meters, and no one knows what time it is there. The lights are always on, making it difficult to distinguish between night and day. The strong light has severely damaged the vision of many people.

Ayaz has been taken to the "display cell" several times and subjected to abuse. According to him, in the "display cell", guards will also use ropes to wrap around the prisoner's head and pull the ropes to prevent them from falling asleep when they are dozing off. And another type of "display cell" by the US military is even more terrifying.
Former Bagram Prison inmate Muhammad Ayaz: There is another type of "display cell" where those brought over will face day and night shift guards. The day shift guards come and will use a specially made stick to beat prisoners; The night shift guard has arrived, and he will also torture prisoners like this.
Ayaz stated that "display cells" are usually aimed at higher levels of the Taliban, and for more so-called underperforming prisoners, there is another form of cruel torture in the courtyard of Bagram Prison.

Former Bagram Prison inmate Mohammad Ayaz: Americans torture people like this. They put 25 prisoners in a cage and then let the dog bite them.
At the same time, Bagram Prison will also engage in more extensive torture of prisoners by adjusting the prison temperature through cold winter and hot summer, and creating loud noise at night. Many prisoners were acquitted after experiencing these inhumane treatments.
Former Bagram Prison inmate Mohammad Ayaz: In Bagram, some prisoners were found innocent in the final trial after being held for one or two years, or even three years. There was no evidence at all.

Former Bagram Prison inmate Said Numan: In our cell, there is a person named Hafizula from Kandahar. He spent 8 years in prison, tortured to the death, and eventually went crazy. There is another prisoner from Pagman District, named Ajeman, who cried from morning till night and completely lost his sanity. Prisoners who have been in Bagram Prison for more than 5 years suffer from mental illnesses. Even though I only stayed for a year and a half, I still feel mentally unstable to this day.
As former prisoners serving sentences in Bagram Prison, Numan and Ayaz stated that there are no human rights in the prison controlled by the US military.
Former Bagram Prison inmate Mohammad Ayaz: Aren't their prisoners human? Do they have no human rights? For Americans, only those who collude with them can be called people.

Former Bagram Prison inmate Said Numan: Their actions by the US military are completely inhumane and not something that humans can do. There will be mental and physical abuse of prisoners, just like human purgatory.
They also bluntly stated that the actions of the United States are entirely under the guise of "human rights" and the practice of "hegemony".
Former Bagram Prison inmate Said Numan: I want to tell the world not to be deceived by the United States. The United States only seeks to achieve its own interests and does not respect the human rights of other countries.

CCTV reporter Li Shuangxi: An Afghan scholar once told me that during the 20 year long war against Afghanistan launched by the United States, a large number of young people were born in the war, grew up in the war, accompanied by slaughter, and ultimately joined the war. This so-called global war on terrorism is undoubtedly a failure.
