Integrated "Competition Exhibition and Performance Exhibition" to compete in unique skills and skills
The second National Skills Competition will be held in Tianjin from September 16th to 19th. This is currently the comprehensive national vocational skills competition in China with the highest competition standards, the most competitive projects, the largest participation scale, the highest skill level, and the widest impact range.
On September 15th, at the pre competition press conference of the second National Skills Competition, officials from relevant departments such as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Tianjin Municipal Government introduced the relevant information of the competition. It is understood that the competition will be held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center, with the theme of "Skills for Talent and Skills for the Country". A total of 109 competition events will be held, with 4045 participants from 36 domestic delegations participating.
From the perspective of project quantity, the scale expansion increment. The competition is divided into two categories: the selection of the World Championship and the selection of the National Championship. 20 new professional and digital technology skill events have been added to the selected projects of the National Games, such as all media operation and Internet marketing. At the same time, five professional technical competition projects including intelligent manufacturing engineering technology and integrated circuit engineering technology have been added, which are more in line with the trend of technology and skill integration development.
From the perspective of project categories, it closely follows the actual production and daily life. The competition involves 15 categories, including manufacturing, information technology, transportation, construction, service, and mining. More than 70% of the projects belong to production and life service projects, nearly 40% belong to advanced manufacturing projects, and nearly 30% belong to strategic emerging industry projects.
From the perspective of the participating delegations, the enthusiasm for participation is higher. There are 36 delegations participating in the competition, including representatives from various provinces and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as representatives from four industry departments: transportation, housing and urban-rural construction, machinery industry, and light industry. Among them, 12 delegations from Shanxi, Anhui, Hubei, and Hunan participated in all 109 competition events.
From the composition of participants, there has been a significant increase in the number of employees and highly educated participants. Among the contestants, the proportion of employees accounted for 54.1%, which is 7.6 times higher than the first competition. Among the student contestants, there are 1638 students from universities, colleges, and technical schools, accounting for 89.5%. This competition also attracts thousands of highly educated athletes, including doctoral, master's, and undergraduate students, most of whom focus on new professions and digital technology skills. "The contestants have all gone through layers of selection in enterprise or university skill competitions, industry skill competitions, and provincial skill competitions, standing out from hundreds of thousands of contestants," said Wang Xiaojun, Secretary General of the Competition Secretariat and Deputy Director of the Vocational Capacity Building Department of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
The competition adopts an integrated model of centralized competition and "competition exhibition and performance meetings", combining skill competitions with skill display and exchange activities. In terms of viewing experience, the content is novel and rich. Wang Xiaojun introduced that this competition has more projects, a strong sense of technology, and high ornamental value, opening up many new fields and tracks. For example, competitions such as cloud computing, mobile application development, and additive manufacturing are committed to cultivating advanced manufacturing momentum; We will focus on promoting green and intelligent manufacturing in areas such as building information modeling, aircraft maintenance, and rail vehicle technology; Competitions such as fashion technology, health, and social care inspire creative design and bring it closer to people's lives. These exciting competition events can be observed by the audience on site or through the "Cloud Observation" platform.
In terms of skill display and communication activities, enhance audience interactivity. During the competition, skill display and exchange activities will be held simultaneously, including skill master meetings and on-site skill experiences. This competition has added 8 new "mass skill experience arena competitions", including mobile robots. Viewers can obtain relevant souvenirs by taking photos and collecting event commemorative medals.
In terms of showcasing their unique skills, the participating contestants have a high level of skill and skill. During the competition, 30 traditional and unique skills will be showcased on-site, and experts and audiences will vote to select the "Top 10 Most Popular Skills". The certificates will be announced and awarded at the closing ceremony of the competition.
In terms of expert forums, there is a wealth of professional discussions. It is reported that this competition will invite representatives of craftsmen from major countries, experts in enterprise and technical education, representatives from technical colleges and vocational skills training institutions, and representatives from human resources experts to participate in the series of forums on strengthening skills.
Yu Pengzhou, member of the organizing committee of the competition and deputy secretary-general of the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, introduced that Tianjin has selected 35 units in the city as the guarantee units for the competition, and has determined that 8 events, including information network cabling, will be jointly guaranteed by the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. Shen Chao, Director of the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, introduced that Tianjin has recruited 1500 young volunteers from 18 universities. They will provide exhibition and event services, language translation, and other services for participants and audiences at national exhibition centers, airports, train stations, and venues.
