Beiji Village in Mohe City, Heilongjiang Province is located on the banks of the Heilongjiang River. Wen Zhu, Deputy Mayor of Mohe City and Secretary of the Party Committee of Beiji Town, introduced that in 2015, Beiji Village was awarded a national 5A level scenic spot, ushering in a transformation from "poverty due to the north" to "prosperity due to the north". As of now, Arctic Town has received more than 500000 tourists this year, with over 200 homestays and catering institutions. The average annual income of villagers exceeded 30000 yuan last year, and they have gained "gold and silver" in the "green mountains and clear waters" and "ice and snow".

In recent years, Heilongjiang Province has been deeply cultivating its summer ecological resources and cultural tourism characteristics. It has created 10 categories of themed tourism, including large forests, wetlands, large rivers, lakes, grasslands, self driving tours, border tours, cross-border tours, research tours, and health and wellness tours. It has designed and launched 211 boutique tourism routes, attracting a large number of tourists to "go north to escape the summer", enjoying the coolness in the lush forest wetlands and the rippling lakes and rivers, and experiencing the rich and colorful tourism experience of "summer in the north".

Not long ago, a hot beer festival kicked off on Sun Island in Harbin. Songbei, Daoli, Pingfang, Nangang and other places have created beer festival sub venues, integrating beer culture with music, art, dance, and fashion, lighting up the "night economy". On September 11th, the 4-day 2023 Harbin International Music and Culture Industry Expo came to an end. 108 domestic and foreign exhibitors held procurement negotiations in Harbin, receiving more than 7000 professional visitors from home and abroad, with a total passenger flow of 20000 people.

Statistics show that in June and July this year, Heilongjiang Province received 34.5 million tourists and generated tourism revenue exceeding 25 billion yuan. Driven by the rapid growth of the tourism industry, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Heilongjiang Province increased by 9.6% in the first half of this year.
