First case in Hangzhou! Police report: Two people detained
According to the latest report from the Hangzhou police, on September 9th, the Xiaoshan District Branch of the Hangzhou Public Security Bureau investigated and dealt with a case of instigating others to fly drones in violation of regulations. The parties involved were punished with administrative detention by the public security organs. This is the first case of being punished with administrative detention since the nationwide "no fly" policy in Hangzhou on September 1st.
At around 12:00 on September 9th, patrol forces at the Hangzhou International Expo Center discovered a drone above the center and immediately contacted the Qianjiang Century City Police Station of the Xiaoshan District Public Security Bureau. The police station responded quickly and immediately launched an investigation and control.
After analysis and judgment, the police quickly identified two suspicious individuals, Zheng and Peng.
Zheng and Peng are operating drones
According to Zheng's confession, both he and Peng are drone enthusiasts. Although they are aware of the current no fly regulations in Hangzhou, they still hold a lucky heart and instigate Peng to jointly carry out drone activities in the controlled area.
According to Article 24, Paragraph 1, Item (a) of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Administration Punishments, the public security organs have decided to impose administrative detention of Zheng for ten days and Peng for seven days.
