First announcement! The latest evidence of the Japanese invasion of China in Unit 731
The original files of the medical roster of the 731 unit of the invading Japanese army in China have been released for the first time
On the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the outbreak of the September 18 Incident, the Criminal Evidence Exhibition Hall of the 731st Unit of the Japanese Invading Army released the latest important historical material - the list of medical officers and academies of the Japanese Invading Army.
This historical material was discovered by Japanese scholar Masayoshi Matsuno, a distinguished professor at Heilongjiang University of Foreign Languages, in July of this year at the National Archives of Japan. This historical record is titled "List of Active Generals in the General School" and "List of Active Military Doctors in the General School". It records the basic information of the 731 unit's military doctors, as well as their affiliation, adjustment, and demobilization after 1944. It covers positions from lieutenant to lieutenant, including personnel turnover between the 731 unit and other health units, proving that there was personnel exchange between the 731 unit and other health units.

Matsuno Masayoshi also introduced that this historical record consists of two volumes, including Japanese senior generals and above, as well as military medical officers and lieutenants. For example, the two captains of Unit 731, Shijiro Ishii and Masaki Kitano, as well as their appointment as Major Generals and Major Generals in the Military Medical Corps, and their job transfers, are all clearly recorded. The list of generals and academies of the 1644 unit of the invading Japanese army located in Nanjing has also been discovered for the first time.

Jin Chengmin, the director of the Criminal Evidence Exhibition Hall of the 731st Army of the Japanese Invasion of China, introduced that by comparing, sorting out, and studying historical materials with the past, it is possible to have a more comprehensive understanding of the overall situation and employment experience of the Japanese military medical academies during the end of World War II. It is the core material for deepening the research on the overall scale, personnel structure, rank, and other issues of the 731st Army, and is the key evidence for comprehensively understanding the crimes committed by the Japanese invasion of China and the coordinated crimes committed by military and medical personnel. It is of great significance for restoring historical truth and promoting academic research.
