Experiments such as spherical flames are included in the curriculum, and the "Heavenly Palace Classroom" will resume today
Attention, attention!
The "highest" podium is back for class today!
According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the fourth class of "Tiangong Classroom" is scheduled to be separated at 15:45 on September 21. Astronauts Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu, and Gui Haichao from Shenzhou 16 will provide space science popularization lectures to young people across the country.

This space teaching activity will continue to be conducted through interactive methods between heaven and earth.
Three astronauts will showcase and introduce the work and life scenes of the Chinese space station's Mengtian experimental module in orbit, and carry out multiple related experiments.
The spherical flame experiment will demonstrate the phenomenon of spherical flames produced by candle combustion in microgravity environments, explain the influence of gravity on the combustion process, and the important significance of studying combustion in microgravity environments
The wonderful "ping pong ball" experiment will use a "specially made" ping pong ball to hit water balls, explaining the surface tension of water and the structural characteristics of hydrophobic materials
The momentum conservation experiment will demonstrate and explain the center of mass collision phenomenon of steel balls with different masses in microgravity environment
"Space turning" will also be reproduced, and the gyroscopic experiment will demonstrate the conservation of angular momentum in a microgravity environment using a metal gyroscope under both stationary and rotating conditions.
Looking forward to the presentation of the fourth lesson of "Tiangong Classroom"
Do you remember what exciting content was in the first three lessons
Let's review together

Buoyancy disappearance experiment
On the ground, when a ping pong ball is placed in water, it will float to the surface of the water. So, when conducting the same experiment in space, will the ping pong ball float or not? The answer is - not floating!
Tiangong Classroom
Effervescent tablet experiment
After encountering water, effervescent tablets usually produce many bubbles. So what happens when effervescent tablets meet water balls in space? The answer is - to become a joyful "bubble ball", and fragrance wafts in waves!
Tiangong Classroom
Water Ball Optics Experiment
Injecting water into the water film results in a water ball. Then a bubble was injected into the water ball, and a magical scene appeared - through the water ball and bubble, two images, one positive and one negative, could be seen. What's going on?
Tiangong Classroom
Space "Ice and Snow" Experiment
In the Chinese space station, where the seasons are like spring, astronauts have created a crystal clear "ice ball" - a liquid ball crystal. The appearance looks like a "hockey ball", but it is actually a "hot ball"! What is the principle behind it?
Tiangong Classroom
Liquid bridge demonstration experiment
Under the gravity environment of the ground, the surface tension of water is negligible. So, how strong is the surface tension of liquids in the microgravity environment of space? The astronauts built a "bridge" with liquid!

Water and Oil Separation Experiment

On the ground, water and oil mix and naturally layer, with oil above and water below. Will water and oil naturally separate in a space station? The answer is - no!
Tiangong Classroom
Water Ball Becomes Lazy Experiment
When astronauts use a syringe to spray air into a water ball, the vibration of the water ball is very intense; After adding a steel ball to the water ball, the vibration amplitude of the water ball decreases with the same force of impact! What's going on?
Tiangong Classroom
Space fun drinking water
On the ground, if the straw is too long, it takes a lot of effort to drink the drink. In the experimental module, the astronauts not only successfully drank mango juice with a 2-meter-long straw, but also expressed that it was "very easy".
Tiangong Classroom
A wrench that can turn around
After the astronauts rotated the T-shaped wrench, a tool in the space station, in the air, the wrench actually flipped over on its own! Sometimes head up, sometimes head down, repeatedly. Even more miraculously, when two wrenches are rotated simultaneously, they exhibit completely different rotational postures!
The universe is vast, exploring infinity
Lesson 4 of "Tiangong Classroom"
We can't see each other, we can't part ways
