Escorted back from Laos! Journalists hit directly, 164 suspects of wire fraud
On September 11, the Ministry of Public Security's working group to Laos ushered in an important task -164 suspect engaged in false investment and financial management telecom network fraud will be escorted back from Laos by the police of the public security organs in Hebei, Henan and Chongqing.
At around 4 o'clock local time, Vientiane, Laos had not yet woken up. Yang Wanfang, the leader of the working group of the Ministry of Public Security to Laos and a police officer from the Criminal Investigation Bureau, has started preparing for the escort.
At the same time, more than 180 police officers from three cities in Henan gathered at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, followed by security checks and boarding. In the gradually thinning night, the escorting police officers walked swiftly and were ready to go.
Guo Liya, a police officer of the Network Security Brigade of the Linzhou Public Security Bureau in Henan Province who participated in the escort operation, told that she could participate in the escort operation and bring the suspect of wire fraud back to China to accept legal sanctions. The police participating in the war were very excited.
"After receiving the task, although we had made sufficient preparations, we still reminded each other before departure to stay alert and ensure the smooth completion of the escort task," said Yang Jikang, a police officer from the Special Police Brigade of Xiangcheng County Public Security Bureau in Henan Province.
At 6:57 Beijing time, the plane took off. About 3 hours later, the plane landed in Vientiane, Laos at 8:54 local time.
Outside the cabin, the clouds are thick and low hanging, and the air is particularly humid. The water on the apron has not dried up after the rain. At this time, members of the working group of the Ministry of Public Security to Laos are attending the handover ceremony.

At around 10 o'clock local time, the reporter saw that the chartered plane taken by Chongqing police officers landed at Vientiane Wadai International Airport, parallel to the previously arrived chartered planes from Hebei and Henan on the apron.
Subsequently, several buses carrying 164 suspect of telecom network fraud drove slowly. The suspects would board three chartered planes and be escorted to Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang and Chongqing.
Before boarding, relevant staff conduct security checks on each suspect one by one. After the inspection is completed, the escorting police will take the suspect onto the plane. During the flight, two police officers sat on either side of the suspect.
The reporter noticed that during the escort, the public security organs and multiple departments such as civil aviation, immigration, customs, and inspection and quarantine worked together to ensure that the escort task was flawless.
Yang Wanfang stood on the apron, paying attention to the progress of the escort work. He said, "I don't know what will happen until the last moment."
The working group has invested a lot of energy in analyzing and judging police law enforcement cooperation overseas. Time is tight, and every minute, the suspect has the possibility of fleeing. Compared to fatigue and setbacks, the rainy season, landslides, and dengue fever in Laos are more unsettling.
This is a great war, and also a bitter one. With the strong support and coordination of my embassy in Laos, the working group cooperated with the Lao police in law enforcement. After mastering the relevant criminal facts and evidence, the operation began.

In mid July, the battle began. The Lao police organized the first round of centralized network access, destroyed the fraud dens in Savannakhet Province at one fell swoop, and arrested 15 suspect of telecommunications network fraud, including one organization leader.
Next, we assisted the Lao police in carrying out 10 centralized network collection operations, successfully destroying 10 telecommunications network fraud dens.
The fruits of the war are not only in Laos.
"This year, the Ministry of Public Security has sent working groups to Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries and regions to carry out police law enforcement cooperation, and successfully captured a large number of suspect of telecommunications network fraud." Lou Xiandi, director of the Information Monitoring Center for the Prevention of Telecommunication Network Fraud of the Ministry of Public Security, introduced that "the public security organs will continue to promote joint crackdowns and resolutely curb the high incidence of cross-border telecommunications network fraud."
At 11:18 local time, the passenger plane returning to Zhengzhou took off from Vientiane. Ten minutes later, the plane penetrated through the clouds and sunlight poured in through the portholes.
The reporter saw that the furrowed brows of the members of the working group of the Ministry of Public Security going to Laos gradually relaxed.
Three hours later, they and their fellow soldiers in Henan escorted these suspect to set foot on the land of the motherland.
