The kindergarten teacher told CCTV reporters that Pelmiro Kindergarten has enrolled a total of 34 students this year and will start school on September 5th. It is divided into three classes: large, medium, and small, with 17 students in the large class, 8 students in the middle class, and 9 students in the small class. The cost per student for one semester is about 3980 yuan. Among them, 26 students paid tuition fees.

On September 6th and September 10th, the deputy principal of the school, Wan, transferred the registration fees of 38000 yuan and 43000 yuan for this semester to the principal, Xu, respectively. "I am a part-time worker, and I am only responsible for collecting fees," said Wan.

The reporter checked the transfer records and group messages provided by the parents of the students and found that the kindergarten principal Xu collected the transfer fee at 11:24 am on September 10th, and then issued a notice of closure at 12:00 pm on the same day.

At around 1am this morning, with the mediation of the police station, the principal agreed to refund 35% of the tuition fee first, and the remaining 65% will be refunded when there is money available," Wang, the parent of the student, told CCTV.

Both parties will negotiate on their own. If the negotiation fails, both parties can resolve the issue through court proceedings.

"The kindergarten paid 20000 yuan yesterday, and our 26 parents paid an average of 770 yuan per family, which is far less than 35% of the tuition fee. The kindergarten promised to refund us another 15000 yuan today, but it was not until 1 pm in the afternoon that we could see the principal." Ms. Xiong, the student's parent, was very excited.

In addition, the reporter found that in an unsigned preliminary opinion letter provided by the parents of the student, "the kindergarten will refund 80% of the total amount paid. Due to the breakage of the kindergarten's funding chain, a temporary refund of 30% will be given, and the remaining 50% will be refunded within one year."

According to investigation, Peiermero Kindergarten in Xinjian District, Nanchang City was established on January 20, 2022, with Zhang as the legal representative. Its business scope includes preschool education for children aged 3-6.

"The current kindergarten principal is Xu, who took over the contract in August last year, and the legal representative information has not been changed," a parent told reporters.
