On September 14th, an emergency message suddenly popped up on the operating platform of China Southern Airlines Guizhou Company, which touched the hearts of all on duty personnel in the two security units.
At 8:23 on the same day, flight CZ3651 from Guiyang to Shanghai Pudong Airport took off smoothly. 32 minutes later, Ms. Shen, a passenger, walked out of the restroom with a pale face and stumbling steps, almost fainting. Upon seeing this situation, the on duty crew members of China Southern Guizhou Airlines immediately stepped forward to assist. After being checked and inquired by the flight attendant Hou Shuang, it was found that Ms. Shen has a stubborn immune system disease and currently feels dizzy and nauseous. She needs to take medication to rest.
Seeing the passenger's poor mental state, while reporting to the captain, the flight attendant adjusted the seat for Ms. Shen to help her lie down and keep warm. Under the careful care of the flight attendants, Ms. Shen's condition temporarily eased and her condition gradually stabilized.
"At that time, we helped Ms. Shen take medication with warm water and lie down. Although the situation seemed to have improved, we couldn't let it go. In addition, we couldn't find a doctor on the plane, so I always arranged for a flight attendant to take care of her and observe her condition changes at any time. With many years of flight work experience, Hou Shuang did not take it lightly because the passenger improved in a short period of time.". As expected, at 9:50, the passenger's face became even paler, unable to communicate independently, unable to respond to the call of the flight attendant, and could only respond weakly by blinking.
"Immediately provide oxygen to the passengers, report the latest situation to the captain, and request an ambulance to be arranged on the ground in Shanghai." Hou Shuang quickly gave instructions to the team members while taking turns calling for Ms. Shen with everyone. Seeing that Ms. Shen's hands and feet were cold and unable to move, the crew immediately filled an empty bottle with hot water and wrapped it in a towel to make a "hot water bottle" to help her regain her body temperature. At the same time, they rubbed the soles of her feet with the flight attendant Kong Qinggui to help passengers recover their reflexes.
"Ms. Shen, wake up... Ms. Shen, can you hear me?" She called out in her ears, trying hard time and time again, gradually "awakening" the vitality and life of the passengers. At 10:10, Ms. Shen finally opened her eyes and was able to briefly communicate with the crew.
"The Shanghai branch has initiated a Level 4 emergency response, and the local airport has prepared for rescue. The tower and other units have also provided full assistance, and the flight is expected to arrive in Shanghai ahead of schedule."
Upon receiving notice from Captain Zhao Zheng, Hou Shuang and his crew continued to provide oxygen, massage, and meticulous care for the passengers. The flight finally landed 10 minutes early, and the ground service personnel and emergency medical staff of the Shanghai branch immediately boarded the plane to conduct blood pressure checks, wake-up calls, and recovery assistance for passengers. After about 15 minutes, the passenger fully regained consciousness and basic physical fitness. The ground service and medical staff worked together to help the passenger onto a stretcher, safely disembarked in an elevator, and then sent to the hospital for further examination and treatment.
"At that time, although the atmosphere for medical treatment on the plane was tense, it was particularly harmonious and warm. From the airline to the airport, tower, crew, ground personnel, including passengers on the same flight as Ms. Shen, everyone was wholeheartedly assisting and cooperating.
