Buyang Village was once a well-known poverty-stricken village. "In the past, there was a saying here that 'in the village of Buyang, where the mountains are high and the water is far away, women should not marry Buyang Lang.' Wu Ronghua, a villager of Buyang Village, said that in the past, the village was relatively backward. Now, the tea industry in the village has developed, and the main income of the villagers comes from planting tea.".
It is reported that in recent years, Buyang Village has established a modern characteristic agriculture demonstration zone in Guangxi, and the village's various infrastructure has been continuously improved, and the quality of tea has also been improved. The village is also exploring the model of "Party branch cooperative enterprise base farmers" to develop and strengthen the village level collective economy. Through villagers investing in land and village collective operation and management, the tea industry has shifted from a simple development to a path of integrating tea and tourism.
