Nanning, People's Daily, September 9th (Xinhua) - Copper drums, Zhuang brocade, rock paintings Entering the Guangxi Ethnic Museum located on the banks of the Yongjiang River, there is a wide variety of collections. It is understood that the Guangxi Ethnic Museum is a specialized museum for ethnic groups, which was completed in December 2008 and opened to the public for free on May 1, 2009. It is currently a national first-class museum, a national civilized unit, a national education base for ethnic unity and progress, a national patriotic education demonstration base, a national practice education base for primary and secondary school students, and a national 4A level tourist attraction.

Cheng Hui, a full-time interpreter at the Guangxi Ethnic Museum, introduced that the museum currently has eight categories of collections, including bronze drums, ethnic textiles, gold and silver artifacts, paper artifacts, stone artifacts, bamboo and wood artifacts, ceramics, and old objects. There are six permanent exhibitions on display, including "The Sound of Drum Crossing Time and Space - Bronze Drum Culture", "Colorful Eight Osmanthus - Guangxi Ethnic Culture Exhibition", "Zhuang Culture Exhibition", "Colorful China - Chinese Ethnic Culture Exhibition", "Colorful World - World Ethnic Culture Exhibition", and "Yesterday's Resurrection - Centennial Old Object Exhibition".
