Both sides exchanged in-depth views on a wide range of topics related to deepening strategic cooperation between the two countries, strengthened coordination, and enhanced mutual trust.
Wang Yi said that China Russia relations have withstood the test of international changes and have continued to develop in a healthy and stable manner. The connotation of strategic cooperation between the two countries is constantly enriched, and the quality of pragmatic cooperation is constantly improving. As permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and responsible major powers, China and Russia closely cooperate on the international stage, jointly defend true multilateralism, oppose all acts of hegemonic power, and promote the development of the global governance system towards a more fair and reasonable direction.
Wang Yi stated that the China Russia Strategic Security Consultation Mechanism, as an important component of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in the new era, reflects the depth of political mutual trust and the breadth of strategic cooperation between China and Russia. Since the establishment of the mechanism, both sides have maintained close communication and positive interaction, effectively defending common interests and contributing wisdom to global strategic stability and resolving regional hot issues. Both sides firmly support each other on issues related to each other's core interests, demonstrating the rightful role of a comprehensive strategic partnership. We are willing to work with the Russian side, taking the important consensus of the two heads of state as the fundamental principle, further unleashing the effectiveness of the mechanism, and making greater contributions to maintaining national security and promoting world peace and stability.
Patrushchev stated that since the beginning of this year, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, Russia China relations have steadily developed and pragmatic cooperation has been orderly promoted. Both sides always respect and support each other. In the face of rapid changes in the international security situation and frequent conflicts, Russia and China are not affected or interfered by external factors, adhere to independence and autonomy, strengthen strategic cooperation, and demonstrate the unique value of a comprehensive strategic partnership. The Russian side firmly supports China's legitimate position on issues related to Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet, Hong Kong, and opposes Western interference in China's internal affairs.
Both sides agree to hold timely strategic stability consultations between China and Russia, strengthen cooperation in law enforcement security, non-proliferation, and global governance of emerging technologies.
Both sides will continue to strengthen cooperation under multilateral frameworks such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS mechanism.
