As an important non competition venue for the Hangzhou Asian Games, the Main Media Center provides personnel arrival and departure, transportation support, language translation, catering services, and material rental services for over 10000 domestic and foreign media reporters during the event. During the Asian Games, more than ten thousand media reporters from various Asian countries such as China, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines will broadcast and report on the event at the main media center.
On September 18th, the main media center will enter its official operation period. It will become the "headquarters" of media journalists, the "main hub" of information dissemination, as well as the headquarters of media operations and the media operations of the Asian Olympic Council. It will also be an important window for showcasing the image of the host country and city to domestic and foreign media.
The main media center is equipped with different areas such as the main news center, international broadcasting center, and main broadcaster operation center, where Asian Games elements can be seen everywhere. It is reported that the main media center ABCD four halls and the preface hall are about 50000 square meters, and the peripheral transportation stations are about 34000 square meters planned in one, greatly optimizing the spatial layout.

In the main news center, 400 seats in the public work room are orderly, and each seat is equipped with free power sockets, wireless and wired Internet access services, which are convenient for office use. It is understood that the main news center is the "main battlefield" for promoting and reporting work during the registration of media competitions, including functional zones such as media service desk, public workspace, news release hall, cloud interview room, Canon photography service, etc. It is worth mentioning that a shared cloud interview room has been set up in the main news center. Due to the distance between the competition venues in the co hosting cities and the main media center, it is inconvenient for journalists to travel or there are conflicts in the interview schedule, which makes it impossible to interview athlete competition information. Therefore, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee has specially set up a shared cloud interview room to solve the above problems. Through the 20Mbps bandwidth connection of the "Cloud Interview" system, journalists can interview athletes in the mixed area or press conference hall of the competition venue within the main media center, achieving efficient linkage between the main media center and the venue.
During operation, all staff members of the main media center will be assigned dedicated positions and equipped with night duty positions, providing 24-hour media services.
