Break through foreign technology blockade! China's Reconstruction as a "Great Power Weapon" to Fill the Domestic Gap
China Yizhong, formerly known as the First Heavy Machinery Factory, was founded in 1954. The establishment of China Yizhong ended the history of China's inability to produce complete sets of machinery products. In the past 70 years, it has filled 475 technological gaps in domestic industrial products and created hundreds of "firsts". To promote the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China, we must firmly grasp the "bull's nose" of independent innovation. What new achievements have China made on the path of high-quality development?
CCTV reporter Ren Qiuyu: This is China's first heavy hydraulic press forging plant, where many core components of major country's heavy equipment are forged. A nearly 500 ton steel ingot has just been taken out of the heating furnace and is now being transported to a 15000 ton hydraulic press for forging.
To forge such a heavy steel ingot, a powerful "guy" is needed. The 15000 ton heavy-duty free forging hydraulic press in front of us is designed and manufactured by China Yizhong, which is currently the most advanced 10000 ton hydraulic press in the world.
Wang Yonggang, Deputy Factory Director of China Yizhong Hydraulic Press Forging Plant: Forging, in layman's terms, is like "kneading the surface", which is a key process in forging the core components of a large country's heavy machinery. Only through sufficient forging can "large country's heavy machinery" have higher performance indicators and meet higher requirements.
Wang Yonggang told reporters that due to the high volume of orders at present, the hydraulic press forging factory is constantly forging core components for various types of major country heavy weapons every day. The reporter learned from the research that the manufacturing of large forgings is one of the key foundations of major technical equipment manufacturing, which directly affects the overall level and operational reliability of complete equipment. This water pressure machine is needed for high-end large-scale forging processing in fields such as nuclear power, hydropower, metallurgy, petrochemicals, and national defense equipment in China. In the past, due to insufficient equipment capabilities and experience, processing large forgings often relied on imports for a long time due to insufficient resources and spare energy.
Liu Jingjie, a first-class researcher at China National Heavy Industry Corporation: In the past, the manufacturing technology for such forgings was mastered abroad, and there was no manufacturing experience or capability domestically. Previously, oversized forgings such as heavy petrochemical containers were constructed using a welded joint structure. However, welded joints have one problem: long manufacturing cycles and high costs, as the presence of welds can shorten their service life.
Now, with the assistance of this 15000 ton hydraulic press, China First Heavy Industries has achieved a series of significant achievements in key core components such as nuclear power, hydropower, and heavy-duty petrochemical containers.
Liu Jingjie, a researcher at China First Heavy Industry Corporation: In recent years, China First Heavy Industry Corporation has also been driven by technological innovation, developing integral tube plate forgings with a diameter of 9 meters and ultra large conical cylinder forgings with a diameter of 6.7 meters. Throughout the entire research and development process, we have broken through foreign technological barriers and mastered the core manufacturing technology of such forgings. The entire technology has also been successfully applied to some key components of heavy-duty petrochemical containers, achieving good economic benefits and achieving the localization and localization of such forgings.
In today's China, the atmosphere of innovation and research and development can be seen everywhere, with research teams running on the production line, brainstorming and contributing to major national equipment projects.
Zhu Lin, Managing Director of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China First Heavy Industries: Over the past five years, we have undertaken more than 30 national key and major projects, and have successfully passed the project acceptance and achieved application.
In recent years, more and more enterprises in Heilongjiang have taken the path of independent innovation, similar to China Yizhong. The policies and measures such as "20 Measures for Industrial Revitalization" and "60 Measures for Innovative Development" introduced by Heilongjiang Province are also helping enterprises to innovate and develop.
Yang Yuxin, Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Heilongjiang Province: By promoting key technology research and development, the company has organized the research and development of 487 first products with independent intellectual property rights. In the fields of aerospace, power equipment, nuclear power equipment, special robots, high-speed and heavy-duty railway freight cars, a batch of products created by Longjiang have reached the world's advanced or leading level, contributing to the maintenance of national industrial security.
At present, China Yizhong is conducting research and development on the core components of a 500 MW impact turbine unit, which will enable China to master the production capacity of the world's largest and heaviest hydroelectric unit "heart" forgings.
