In the past, due to insufficient equipment capabilities and experience, processing large forgings often relied on imports for a long time due to insufficient resources and spare energy.

Previously, oversized forgings such as heavy petrochemical containers were constructed using a welded joint structure. However, welded joints have one problem: long manufacturing cycles and high costs, as the presence of welds can shorten their service life.

Now, with the assistance of this 15000 ton hydraulic press, China First Heavy Industries has achieved a series of significant achievements in key core components such as nuclear power, hydropower, and heavy-duty petrochemical containers.

Throughout the entire research and development process, we have broken through foreign technological barriers and mastered the core manufacturing technology of such forgings. The entire technology has also been successfully applied to some key components of heavy-duty petrochemical containers, achieving good economic benefits and achieving the localization and localization of such forgings.
