CCTV reporter Zhao Jing: The opening of the Hangzhou Asian Games is getting closer and closer. Welcome to Hangzhou. From the sky, the towering buildings in the distance are the Hangzhou Asian Games Village. On September 16th, Hangzhou Asian Games Village officially opened and welcomed all delegations to move in!
The central location of the Asian Games Village is the international area, which is the public activity area of the village and also the area for showcasing the city's image to the outside world. The concept of city walls is introduced into the exterior walls of the building, and a green landscape painting is carefully presented.
The Hangzhou Asian Games Village is composed of an athlete village, a technical officer village, and a media village. It will provide comprehensive services such as accommodation, catering, transportation, culture, technology, medical care, and commerce for more than 20000 athletes, team officials, technical officials, and media personnel, making it a comfortable and warm home for the Asian Games.

The Asian Games Village is the first demonstration project in Zhejiang Province to pass the evaluation of green ecological urban areas and has been selected as a pilot project for the "Future Community" in Zhejiang Province.
Looking down from the air, there is a spectacular painting of rice paddies, which reads "Heart to Heart Integration, @ Future". This is the theme slogan of the Hangzhou Asian Games, expressing the expectation of people from all countries to blend in and embrace beauty together on the stage of the Asian Games. The global Internet symbol @ is used here, which also conforms to the characteristics of Hangzhou Internet City.
The Asian Games Village is located on the south bank of the Qiantang River, and the Qiantang River, the mother river of Zhejiang, has witnessed the development of Hangzhou.
Previously, Hangzhou was very small. Before 1995, the urban area was only about 430 square kilometers, making it a true "mini" provincial capital city. After more than 20 years of development, the urban area of Hangzhou has expanded to over 8000 square kilometers today. On both sides of the Qiantang River, new cities have emerged, forming a number of cultural landmarks and new growth poles for the urban economy.

What we see now is the Qianjiang New City located on the north bank of the Qiantang River. The golden spherical building is the Hangzhou International Convention Center, which echoes the silver crescent shaped Hangzhou Grand Theater. Qianjiang New City also gathers multiple multinational corporations and financial institutions, making it one of the most dynamic business districts in China. At present, the second phase of Qianjiang New City is under construction.
The core area of Qianjiang New City faces the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center venue cluster across the river, echoing from north to south. On September 23rd, the opening ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Games will be held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium.
Hundreds of years ago, under the pen of Marco Polo, Hangzhou, known as the "most beautiful and luxurious city in the world," worked hard to build a "world-class socialist modern international metropolis" with the opportunity of hosting the Asian Games.
