The notice pointed out that as a leading cadre of Party members, Gao Zongsheng lost his ideals and beliefs, abandoned his original mission, disregarded Party discipline and national laws, abused his power and acted recklessly, alienated the power bestowed by the Party and the people into a tool for personal gain, seriously violated the Party's political discipline, the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulations, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and life discipline, constituted serious violations of his duties and was suspected of accepting bribes and illegally issuing loans. He also did not restrain or stop after the 18th National Congress of the Party, and continued to do so after the 19th National Congress of the Party.
