Mr. Ma, a resident of Baoding, Hebei, told Jimu News reporters that on the evening of the 13th, while heading to a school in Jingxiu District to pick up a child, he saw two beams of light sources resembling searchlights appearing in the sky. The glowing objects kept rising, and the two beams of light became increasingly blurred. In less than 30 seconds, they completely disappeared. "I also saw this phenomenon for the first time, and I think it was quite shocking."
Mr. Shi, a resident of Tianjin, said that at 8:15 pm on the 13th, he saw an "unidentified flying object" in the western sky near Baoyang Road in Nankai District. "At first, there were two beams of light, which merged into a large halo and became increasingly blurry." Mr. Shi said that there was no cloud or mist in the sky that night, and stars could be seen in the sky. This phenomenon was particularly evident in the sky at that time.
Almost at the same time, Ms. Zhang, a resident of Beijing, also saw this phenomenon. "What is this, is it an alien?" Ms. Zhang wrote in a caption when posting a video on social media. Ms. Zhang claimed that this phenomenon lasted for about 15 seconds and she believed it was a giant aircraft.
Several netizens from Zhengzhou, Henan and Tai'an, Shandong told Jimu News reporters that they saw the same phenomenon at the same time.
On the morning of the 14th, an astronomical expert from a domestic observatory told Jimu News reporters that she sent relevant videos to multiple astronomical experts, unanimously believing that this phenomenon is a rocket cloud formed after launching a certain spacecraft, which is an artificial wonder. "In the video, it can be clearly seen that it is rotating at high speed." The expert said that after launching a certain aircraft from the ground, high temperatures will be generated at the tail, coupled with strong airflow, which will form a strange phenomenon like a searchlight, which can be seen during the day or night.
