On this occasion, I have been appointed as the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, feeling deeply honored by my mission and heavy responsibility.
Not long ago, I crossed the towering Kunlun Mountains and arrived in this country, affectionately known as the "Pakistan Railway" by the Chinese people, to embark on a new journey. Although working and living in Pakistan has not been long, I have personally experienced the friendship between China and Pakistan that people call "higher than mountains, deeper than the sea, and sweeter than honey".
China and Pakistan are connected by mountains and rivers, and have been friendly for generations. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 72 years ago, no matter how the international situation has changed, China and Pakistan have always shown mutual respect and shared difficulties, understanding and supporting each other on issues related to each other's core interests, and have formed a "steadfast" friendship.China Pakistan relations remain at a high level of operation, radiating vitality and vigor.
China and Pakistan maintain close high-level exchanges.The strong leadership of the leaders of the two countries has raised the flag, set the direction, and steer the development of China Pakistan relations.
China Pakistan pragmatic cooperation has achieved fruitful results. China Pakistan economic and trade cooperation has maintained a high level, and China has become Pakistan's largest trading partner for 8 consecutive years. Pakistan's exports of agricultural products to China have grown rapidly. The China Pakistan Economic Corridor has transformed from a blueprint into a reality, becoming a vivid interpretation of the all-weather friendship between China and Pakistan, and providing important support for the two countries to build a closer China Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era. China and Pakistan will jointly build growth, people's livelihood, innovation, green, and open corridors to promote high-quality development of the corridors.
The military exchanges and cooperation between China and Pakistan continue to deepen. The high-ranking officials of the two armies maintain a frequent exchange of visits and exchanges, and this year, the Chairman of the Pakistan Joint Chiefs of Staff and other high-ranking leaders of the Pakistani military have successively visited China. The cooperation between the two armies in joint exercises and training, anti epidemic cooperation, equipment technology and other fields has yielded fruitful results, effectively enriching the connotation of strategic cooperation between the two countries and making important contributions to maintaining regional peace and stability.
The cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Pakistan continue to expand. Flights between the two countries have resumed in an orderly manner, and various groups such as think tank scholars, media personnel, and religious representatives have conducted mutual visits. The enthusiasm of students for studying abroad and visiting has increased, and the mutual understanding between the two peoples has further strengthened. This year is also the "China Pakistan Tourism Exchange Year". The Palace Museum held the Gandhara Art Exhibition, injecting new impetus into cultural exchanges, tourism cooperation, and cultural exchange between the two countries.
Despite the complex and severe external environment, the Chinese economy still has enormous development resilience and potential, and the long-term positive fundamentals have not changed. China has the confidence, conditions, and ability to continuously improve its economic structure, enhance growth momentum, and maintain a positive development trend.
