The People's Procuratorate of Qingyang City, Gansu Province accuses that the defendant Wang Zhongyu, during the period from 1991 to 2017, used his positions as the Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Manager, Deputy General Manager, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Lanzhou Railway Bureau of Qinghai Tibet Railway Company to provide assistance to others in enterprise operation, engineering contracting, and promotion, and received a total of RMB 259011385 in property from others; After retiring, the defendant Wang Zhongyu utilized the convenience formed by his original powers and position to provide assistance to others in engineering contracting, scientific research project approval, product promotion, etc. through the actions of other state officials, and received a total of 553000 yuan in property from others. The procuratorial organs have requested that they be held criminally responsible for the crimes of bribery and bribery through the use of influence.
