A task that is absolutely impossible to accomplish, Ukraine is going to do something big
Data chart
First of all, you have to admire Ukraine's courage. Although it is even more difficult than reaching the sky, I just want to see it.
Secondly, I have to say that this is a true Mission Impossible, an impossible task that may be more difficult than Ukraine winning the war.
What exactly is the task?
Deprive Russia of its veto power in the Security Council!
During a recent speech at the United Nations, Ukrainian President Zelensky unleashed all his firepower, harshly criticizing Russia's aggression against Ukraine, demanding that the United Nations uphold justice and deprive Russia of this power in the Security Council.
As he said, "The veto power in the hands of the aggressors has put the United Nations in a stalemate, and it is impossible to stop the war because all efforts have been vetoed by the aggressors and those who condone aggression."
He also believed that Russia's veto originally belonged to the Soviet Union. "Unfortunately, after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Russia illegally occupied seats in the Security Council through backstage manipulation."
What does it mean?
The meaning is also very clear.
The original Security Council seat belonged to the Soviet Union.
2. This seat in the Soviet Union was stolen by Russia and illegal.
3. Russia should be stripped of its seat in the Security Council and its veto power should be abolished.
We believe that Russia is one of the five permanent members of the Communist Party of China, but in Ukraine's view, this is illegal theft.
This is another historical case.
If I remember correctly, during the turbulent period of the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the question of who would inherit the permanent seat of the Soviet Security Council was indeed a focal point.
Yeltsin took the initiative to put pressure on the CIS countries, and this seat must be inherited by Russia.
At that time, the primary task of the CIS countries was to ensure independence, and they did not raise any objections; Britain and France took the lead in expressing their support for Russia's inheritance rights; At first, the United States hesitated a bit, but in the end, it was clear that it supported this inheritance.
After all, among the several countries after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Russia's strength was there; From the perspective of stabilizing the world order, this is also the most reasonable result.
Therefore, although there were some twists and turns and flaws in the process, from a practical perspective, this issue has been properly resolved.
In addition, the issue of Russia's Security Council seat has nothing to do with Ukraine, because at that time, the Soviet Union itself had three seats in the United Nations - the Soviet Union, Belarus, and Ukraine, each with one seat.
The ultimate seat for the Soviet Union has nothing to do with Ukraine.
But because of the conflict between Russia-Ukraine conflict, Ukraine began to suffer: Russia inherited the Soviet Union's seat on the Security Council, which is illegal!
Previously, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs even proposed:
Firstly, the United Nations should deprive Russia of its permanent seat in the Security Council and expel Russia from the United Nations;
Secondly, Russia can rejoin the United Nations, just like other countries applying to join now. If it complies with the United Nations Charter, the United Nations General Assembly can vote to agree
How is it going?
I have to admit that Ukraine has a lot of ideas.
Previously, this was more of a propaganda offensive launched by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Now, Zelensky himself publicly challenges the United Nations.
My understanding is that this is first and foremost a public opinion offensive, which is to humiliate Russia in such a fierce way; Secondly, it is also to open up a second battlefield and launch a sweeping attack on Russia at the United Nations.
Can Russia be expelled from the Security Council?
The answer from the United States is simple: I want to do it too, but I really can't do it.
Russia's answer is even more straightforward: impossible, absolutely impossible!
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, who appeared later in the Security Council, said sharply, "The veto power is a fully legitimate tool stipulated in the Charter, aimed at preventing decisions that may lead to the dissolution of the United Nations."
The meaning is also very clear:
Our veto power is completely reasonable and legal.
Without the veto power, the United Nations would disintegrate.
Ukraine, are you doing this to dismantle the United Nations?!
Ukraine, you are not only insulting Russia, but also trying to completely subvert the international order after World War II.
Wearing a big hat, Russia also has a unique set.
Finally, when it comes to the major task that Ukraine is going to do, there is only one conclusion: this is definitely an impossible task, and it is also an international farce that will inevitably evolve into a dead cycle.
