9 pieces of Chinese porcelain were stolen in Germany! Worth millions of euros!
According to Agence France Presse, on the 13th local time, relevant departments in Cologne, Germany announced that a local museum had been robbed, with 9 pieces of Chinese Ming and Qing Dynasty porcelain worth approximately 1 million euros stolen.
According to reports, the theft occurred at a local East Asian art museum. The local police claimed that a group of "unidentified people" broke through the window and then stole the porcelain from the display cabinet.
The Cologne municipal authorities stated in a statement that the nine stolen porcelain pieces included two vases and a bowl from the Ming Dynasty in China, as well as some items from the Qing Dynasty, manufactured between the 16th and 19th centuries.
The report states that due to the complete record of stolen items, they are easy to identify. The museum's director, Hertel, said she hopes to find all the stolen items.
After the incident, Charles, the city councilor in charge of art and culture in Cologne, announced that he would conduct a security review of the museum.
