After three years of separation, the Women's Road World Tour of Chongming Island International Self Alliance has returned to the Ecological Island! The 2023 Chongming Island Women's World Tour will be held from October 12th to 14th.

This year's World Tour has a total of 30 stops, and the Women's World Tour around Chongming Island remains the only multi day women's World Tour in China, as well as the qualifying round for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Since the start of the competition, multiple high-level World Tour teams from around the world have applied to participate. The organizing committee has determined 18 teams from around the world to participate in the competition based on their team level and competitive level, all of which are among the top ranked teams in the world, including 7 women's world tour teams, 9 women's intercontinental teams, as well as the Chinese national team and Hong Kong team, with a total of 108 participants. The fleet comes from 13 countries and regions, covering Europe, America, Oceania, and Asia.

In terms of race route information, during the three-day race, the total mileage of the segment was 349.8 kilometers. According to the schedule, the first stage will take place on the 12th, starting from Xincheng Park and passing through Lotus Expo Park and Mingzhu Lake Park, covering a total distance of 108.9 kilometers; On the 13th, the second stage of the competition will take place. The contestants will depart from Changxing Island Country Park, pass through the magnificent Yangtze River Bridge, Dongtan Avenue, Shanghai Chongming Sports Training Base, and then return to Xincheng Park, covering a total distance of 128.6 kilometers; The third stage will take place on the 14th, with the race route starting from Xincheng Park, circling Chongming Avenue and entering Xinhe Town for cycling, then returning to the urban area for a loop, covering a total distance of 112.3 kilometers. Like the townships involved in previous years, except for Hengsha Township, the track route covers the main roads of 17 townships in Chongming and the Yangtze River Bridge, almost achieving full coverage on the island. During the competition, contestants can deeply experience the charm of world-class ecological islands.
