See you at the 2024 China Grand Prix!, Zhou Guanyu
On September 14th, the Alpha Romeo F1 team announced that they will maintain their current driver lineup for the 2024 season, and Walter Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will collaborate with this team from Xinville, Switzerland for the third consecutive year.
In 2024, the Chinese Grand Prix returned to the F1 calendar, which also means that Zhou Guanyu finally has the opportunity to compete in the F1 race at home.
As the first official F1 driver in China, Zhou Guanyu made history in 2022. In addition to demonstrating outstanding speed and skills that made him famous during his teenage years, his keen insight into technical details and professional attitude also helped him adapt more quickly to the competition in F1. In his second season in F1, he matured and won more supporters in the team.
Zhou Guanyu said when talking about signing with the team, "This is a very exciting thing, and the future of the team is very clear. Team representative Bravi said, "The decision to maintain our current driver lineup is a strong proof of our long-term investment in the project. In Formula One racing, nothing can change overnight. We have clearly decided to focus on stability and work together to build our team, as we will enter an important transitional period."
Bravi gave high praise to the two drivers. Bottas and Zhou Guanyu are both talented and skilled drivers, and they cooperate well and can promote each other. "Botas has played a true leadership role in the team, pushing us all to give it our all; Zhou Guanyu has made outstanding progress in the past two years, and we look forward to him continuing this momentum in 2024. Now, the baton is back in our hands - we must provide the best cars for the two drivers to showcase their potential."

The last time Zhou Guanyu played on the field was in 2019. At that time, he was an F2 driver, and many car fans sought his autographs, making him feel the passion of playing at home. In that year, as an F1 development driver, he drove the F1 car onto the road of Xintiandi.
