This year is the first time that C919 has served the Spring Festival. There are currently four C919 aircraft in operation, all belonging to China Eastern Airlines, flying on the Beijing-Shanghai and Shanghai-Chengdu routes respectively.
Lou Yingwen said that on the first flight in the Year of the Dragon, the passenger occupancy rate of the C919 aircraft exceeded 90%. Most of them were families traveling, some with children and some with the elderly.
It was the first time for many passengers to fly on a domestically produced large aircraft, and it was difficult to conceal their excitement. An old man lamented: "I never thought I would be able to fly on a large plane made by China in my lifetime."

Lou Yingwen was one of the first batch of C919 flight attendants. On May 28, 2023, when China Eastern Airlines' first C919 made its first commercial flight, she was on the plane.

The aisle of C919 is wider than Boeing and Airbus, and the middle seat of the three seats in the cabin is 1.5 cm wider than the seats on both sides. It's quite comfortable to sit in the middle. On the same day, after Lou Yingwen flew to Chengdu, she followed the subsequent flight C919 back to Shanghai. On the return flight, the passenger load factor was still over 90%.
