During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, the stations with larger passenger flow in Beijing are Beijing South Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station. Among them, Beijing South Railway Station is expected to send 2.388 million people and arrive at 2.279 million people. On the peak day of delivery, September 29, it is expected to send 238,000 people, and on the peak day of October 6, it is expected to arrive at 225,000 people. On the peak day of delivery, it is expected to send 215,000 people on September 29, and on the peak day of October 6, it is expected to arrive at 205,000 people.
In view of transportation during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, the railway department will regularly open the four underground rapid entry halls of Beijing South Station from September 27 to October 8, and will advance or extend the opening time depending on passenger flow conditions.
The railway department reminded that passengers should try to choose public transportation to arrive at the station and arrange their travel time reasonably to avoid traffic congestion and travel delays caused by the increase in social vehicles around the station. At the same time, check whether the items you carry with you comply with the requirements of the "Prohibited and Restricted Items" catalog to avoid unnecessary trouble during your trip. Passengers returning to Beijing are advised to take public transportation as much as possible to avoid delays caused by insufficient taxi and online ride-hailing capacity during peak hours.
