Through this conference, SAIC Group unveiled its "going global" plan to its dealers and demonstrated its "global ambition". It is understood that in 2023, SAIC expects its overseas sales to exceed 1.2 million vehicles for the whole year, achieving "scale profitability". At the same time, SAIC's European vehicle manufacturing base has started site selection. In 2024, the global annual sales of MG brand will hit the milestone of one million vehicles, with new energy vehicles accounting for nearly 30%. China's first convertible electric sports MGCyberster will be launched in Europe. By 2025, SAIC will launch 14 new intelligent electric models overseas, including the "mid to large intelligent coupe SUV" Zhiji LS6, fully covering mainstream segmented markets. By 2026, SAIC will gradually add 12 new energy ocean going transport ships, with an annual increase of over 500000 self operated transport capacity.
