The press conference also introduced the phased achievements made by Shanghai in actively implementing the spirit of the forum over the past year, focusing on improving the level of green and intelligent development of the shipping industry.
In continuously promoting green transformation and promoting energy conservation, pollution reduction, and carbon reduction in shipping, Shanghai has accelerated the construction and use of shore power facilities. The coverage rate of shore power for foreign trade container berths in Shanghai Port has reached over 90%. The transformation of power receiving facilities for operating and inspecting ships, as well as the construction of low-voltage and small capacity shore power in inland ports, have achieved the "three 100% full coverage" goals. Moreover, Shanghai actively promotes the application of electric ships on the Suzhou River and Huangpu River. The first domestic supercapacitor new energy vehicle passenger ferry "New Ecology" has been put into operation; The construction of the first new energy ship for Pujiang tourism has been completed. All 12 sightseeing boats on Suzhou River are pure electric new energy boats. The utilization rate of bridge power supply at Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport exceeds 99%.
In accelerating the transformation of digital intelligence and promoting innovation, quality and efficiency in shipping, Shanghai continuously improves its intelligent port technology and takes the lead in launching the country's first social road "downsizing" operation test. The "Yangshan Port Intelligent Heavy Truck Demonstration Operation" project has achieved phased results; The Yangshan Phase IV fully automated terminal has fully achieved design throughput capacity, and automated terminal technology has been applied in 14 terminals both domestically and internationally.
At the same time, port and shipping logistics service platforms covering the Yangtze River Basin, the Yangtze River Delta region, and some coastal ports have been basically completed; Relying on blockchain technology, Shanghai Port has achieved paperless import and release processes, and the import exchange and release process has been shortened to less than 4 hours. Shanghai is also accelerating the construction of smart airports, steadily advancing the intelligent operation and management system of the airport, and Shanghai Airport has initially achieved the display and application of digital twin airports.
