3500 smart elevators will be born within the year, and Shanghai's first district level 5G+smart elevator project is about to be completed
In the Zhengrongyu Capital Community of Jinshan District, there are warm reminders posted near the elevators that prohibit electric bicycles from entering households; If a passenger pushes an electric vehicle into an elevator, the elevator will immediately receive a message saying "Hello, electric scooters are not allowed to enter the elevator"... Since 2021, Shanghai Mobile and the Jinshan District Market Supervision Administration have carried out 5G+smart elevator coverage in 11 residential communities. By installing "smart brains" and "smart sensors" on elevators in residential communities, the elevator will be fully protected 24 hours a day to ensure the safe operation of elevators in the community. It is expected that by the end of this year, a total of 3500 residential elevator IoT devices will be installed, basically achieving full coverage of the entire Jinshan District residential elevator IoT.
With the strong promotion of the Jinshan District Market Supervision Administration, Shanghai Mobile Jinshan Branch has established an elevator remote monitoring system, which, in conjunction with the 5G Internet of Things for residential elevators, synchronously connects elevator operation data to the Shanghai Smart Elevator Platform, facilitating daily management of city and district level staff and community property. Normally, the property management of the community can log in to the elevator remote monitoring platform to constantly monitor the operation and maintenance of elevators within their jurisdiction. In response to uncivilized behavior in elevators, monitoring records can be accessed at any time to guide and regulate them.
In addition, Shanghai Mobile Jinshan Branch is currently promoting the coverage and optimization of underground garage signal construction within its jurisdiction in an orderly manner according to the construction list issued by the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology. This practical project is called "Residential Community Underground Garage Mobile Communication Network Coverage Project". Shanghai Mobile will develop a personalized optimization plan of "one station, one library" based on the different structures of each community and garage. After opening, special tests will also be conducted to see if it can meet the requirements of signal coverage.
