The deputy district chief voluntarily surrendered and was promoted for half a year
According to the WeChat public account of Clean Sichuan on June 19, Luo Yi, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy district mayor of Mingshan District, Ya'an City, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and voluntarily surrendered himself. He is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Ya'an Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
Public information shows that Luo Yi, male, Han nationality, was born in October 1984 in Ya'an, Sichuan Province. He received an on-the-job university degree from the Provincial Party School. He started working in October 2008 and joined the Communist Party of China in January 2006.
From October 2008 to May 2013, he worked in the Construction Engineering Quality and Safety Supervision Station of Yucheng District, Ya'an City, the People's Court of Mingshan County, and the People's Court of Mingshan District;
From May 2013 to December 2023, he served successively as member of the Party Committee and Minister of Armed Forces of Heizhu Town, Mingshan District, Ya'an City, member of the Party Committee and Minister of Armed Forces of Mengyang Town, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Mengyang Town, deputy secretary and mayor of Mengyang Town, secretary of the Party Committee of Mengyang Town, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Mengyang Sub-district, director of the District Party Committee Office, and first-level chief clerk;
On December 18, 2023, the local government announced that Luo Yi, director of the office of the Mingshan District Party Committee of Ya'an City and a first-level chief clerk, is expected to be appointed to a deputy county-level leadership position.
On December 28, 2023, Luo Yi was appointed as the deputy mayor of Mingshan District, responsible for commerce, economic cooperation, service industry development, agriculture and rural areas, effective connection between poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, tea industry development, water conservancy, civil affairs, and supply and marketing.
